Hello and welcome to Eureka Tutoring! My name is Gemma Douilhet, and I am an academic tutor providing online and in-person services across Brussels. I support learners across a wide range of ages and levels — from primary maths and phonics through to secondary and university-level mathematics — offering effective, structured and personalised tuition designed to build confidence and deep understanding. About Me

For me, it’s always been all about the learning! Whether I am helping others learn as a teacher, or pursuing further learning into a career as a scientist, the pursuit of knowledge is at the heart of everything I do.

I am a qualified teacher with years of experience teaching children in the UK, with a history of working with children with complex needs as well as with children for whom English is a second (or third or fourth!) language.

But I am also a scientist, with a PhD in computational immunology, and a particular passion for mathematics. I taught there as well, whether that is supervising Masters and later PhD students, teaching university students, or giving seminars to fellow scientists, the world of science is all about learning and sharing that knowledge with others.

In this new adventure this is what I would like to do with and for you: learn and share, support along the way, and help your children along their learning journey, whether that means teaching them phonics, reading comprehension, biology, or differential equations!
